The ACT has two programs running: the Solar for Low Income Program and Next Generation Energy Storage Grants.

The Solar for Low Income Program offers subsidies of up to 50% of the total cost of a solar system (capped at $2500).

To be eligible, you must hold an Australian Government Pensioner Concession Card, be a homeowner in the ACT and not already have rooftop solar installed. View the full details here.

Solar battery rebate ACT

Through their Next Generation Energy Storage Program, the ACT Government is supporting up to 5000 battery storage systems in homes and businesses across the ACT with a rebate of $825 per kW up to 30 kW.

This means, for example, a standard household with a 5 kW system would typically be eligible for around $4000.
